Very motivating - seems like a "paddle or die" situation. Not good to come to a limit under such conditions. The colleagues would probably have difficulties helping one in distress... Seems that your kayak is of a different type then the other ones. Which one are you using? I am also wondering for a long time how is your camera positioned... Since very recently I started paddling in real life in a "Nortik Scubi 1" and am very satisfied (well, just two occasions until now). I am currently mounting the camera and gimbal in a *NOT* waterproof scenario using a magnetic support. Otherwise the stabilization would not be satisfactory. Your stabilization is absolutely great!

Thanks! We were concerned with the crossing. This area was known to "gather speed and waves". We tried to take extra precautions. It was an experienced group so everybody was relatively relaxed BUT determined. Our speed was not very high so took us a couple of hours to cross 3 segments like this one. There is an adrenaline kick in these situations. Cant complain.
I have used a Gimbel too and worked great but opted to simply use the GoPro10 stabalizer. It does a great job. In this video I placed the camera on the bag. I can do a small video explaining the two and share on Twitter Kinomap account. An alternatively view has been using a special "fishing poll" attachment with a GoPro adaptor. I can have camera then way in the front or back. Not sure I have uploaded a video yet with that angle.
Appreciate the comment! Gives encouragement to hear feedback positive or negative. Happy paddling.

Many thanks for such a detailed answer! No need for a video-explanation. Enjoy the summer.

Outside 9 Beaufort at the moment. Time for a rough and beautiful row😜 Many thanks for sharing😀
Paddling against wind makes it slooow going. What I enjoyed in this segment were the waves. It felt like a roller coaster where you can the front of the kayak submerges in the waves. Gives a real adrenaline kick.
