In the top 5 of the highest road cols in France, the Col du Galibier is a MUST if you are cycling in the French Alps. Very tough, especially from this north side, but the scenic views make you forget the steep slopes. Also the Tour de France passes this spectacular col frequently, already 61 times in total. Enjoy!!
