Laurieston to Linlithgow
A short ride along National Cycle Route 76 from Laurieston in Stirlingshire, a small village to the East of Falkirk, to the town of Linlithgow (Gleann Iucha in Gaelic or Lithgae in Scots). The ride is all on public roads although much of it is on quiet country lanes over the hills between Bo'ness and Linlithgow. Whilst there are a few inclines these are gentle and not lengthy and as always if you climb you must come down at some point so you are rewarded with a speedy descent into Linlithgow at the end of the ride.
