12501 S Easley River Rd, Columbia, MO 65203, USA
Hartsburg Trailhead Katy Trail, Unnamed Road, Hartsburg, MO 65039, USA
This is a ride eastbound across prairie, farmland and woodlands on the Katy Rail Trail in the State of Missouri.
This segment starts passing through Easley and ends at the Hartsburg trailhead.
This is likely the flattest 9 miles that I've ever ridden, or will ever ride, with almost no variance in elevation from beginning to end and points in-between. So much so that I made it a point to check the original GPS data to make sure there wasn't some kind of data encoding error when the video was rendered!
The Katy Rail Trail is nearly 240 miles long and spans nearly the full width of Missouri. It is the longest continuous rail-trail in the United States, is in the Rail-Trail Hall of Fame, and is designated a Millennium Legacy Trail.
Recorded in Hypersmooth 2.0
