Elafonisi beach in the south-west of Crete in Greece ๐ฌ๐ท - this uninhabited island ๐พ, which is connected to the main island of Crete via a sandbank, impresses with its pink sand๐๏ธ๐. We start on the island and then walk towards the sandbank along the Libyan Sea ๐. When the salt water washes over the sand, the pink coloration, which is caused by tiny shell particles ๐, is most clearly visible. Enjoy the idyll!
